This truck also has an automatic light tower on it used for lighting accident and fire scenes.

Off-Road Vehicle 149

2008 Kubota

This off-road 4x4 kubota was purchased at Dragoon's Farm Equipment in Mooers, NY. This truck gets plenty of action during brush fire season and is also called mutual aid several times for backwoods fires and deep wild land fires. This kubota is equipped with a 75 gallon tank and a pump on a skid unit, and is also able to carry a stokes stretcher for backwoods rescue with EMS.

Engine 141

2005 KME Pumper

Champlain's 1st Foam Equipped Fire Truck.....Engine 141 holds 1500 gallons of water and has the capability of being used as a tanker as well. This truck was dedicated to fallen firefighter's Bruce Barcomb and Duane Temblay at a ceremony in 2007.

This is our Brush Truck for fighting brush and wildland fires. The truck was purchased from Parker's Chevrolet in Champlain, and a skid unit with a 300 gallon tank was installed in the bed. Engine 144

This truck was purchased from the Cadyville Fire Dept in 2006 as a backup engine that replaced our 1974 Haun. This truck is primarily used for brush fires, fill-sites, and off road fires.

Squad Van 148

1986 Dodge

The van was purchased from the Rouses Point Fire Department in 2004 as a squad truck for our members to use. We have used this van a lot over years! In is generally used for members to go to various trainings, functions, or even fires. We use it for traffic control at accident scenes and our Ladies Auxiliary uses it to transport food and drinks to fire scenes in our district. The van has proven to be a great investment for our membership and gets a lot of use as a response vehicle.

Engine 144 - Retired

1974 Haun

This 1974 Haun was Champlain's Front Line Truck until 2005 when it was replaced by the new KME Engine 141. With over 30 years of service, this truck saw plenty of action in it's time. We were very proud to have the Haun as part of our Fire Dept for so many years.

The General - Retired

1948 General Apparatus

The "General" was Champlain's 1st motorized pumper. The Fire Department is currently working toward rebuilding this truck as an antique truck for the department.
