Once again, our Fire Department came together with family, friends, and honored guests to celebrate another successful year for the Champlain Fire Department.  Over 120 people attended the banquet held at the Knights of Columbus in Champlain.  Presentations were conducted after dinner.  Gifts were given to all members.  Presentation of gifts were also presented by the Ladies Auxiliary to their members.  An Appreciation Award was presented by the Champlain Fire District Commisioners to former Chief Chris Trombley for his hard work and dedication as Fire Chief for the last 5 years.  Finally, the Firefighter of the Year Award was given to Shane Brink for his outstanding dedication and response to calls over the past year.  A good time was had by all!!!
